Bunny has been up a year May 5, 2008. My experience blogging has been a great one. I have a encountered some very intellectual people. I enjoy writing immensely and I appreciate everyone who is following and supporting Bunny got Blog.
This past year, I have had many heart warming experiences. Bunny was featured a few times on some very popular blogs. This was a thrilling experience for a young blog. Then the elite community of friends who have supported me in so many ways.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you personally but there are a few I do need to mention by name. First and foremost:
Thumper
Thumper, because without him, Bunny would be a mess. He is computer savvy and my partner. Although he chooses to remain silent most of the time. Behind every woman is a significant person gently pushing them. Besides, writing keeps me out of his hair when he is working. He brought out a part of me I hadn’t found yet and this was a passion for writing.
The lime is a hint – I think a mojito night is in order soon, darling.
Next, I would like to mention:
Bunny’s “Support Group”
I feel it is an honor and privilege to have these people support me. Thank you very much.

eDragonu – the choice of a personal path
Dragos – Not making you sound pedestalish. Yes! I, eh, “borrowed” your word! Your sincere enthusiasm and loyal support has always made me feel you were like a mentor in a couple of ways. Your intellect and shared wisdom is always appreciated and regarded with much respect. I enjoy your blog very much.
Learn This
Mike King – Always the thinker and very positive support; and a guy to have on your side. Your blog gets me thinking and motivated with your informative work related and self improvement posts. You and Dragos got things stirred up on Bunny more then once and it was a pleasure. I have high regard for your friendship and as a person. Thank You.
The Hungry Mouse
Jessie – Thank you for your support and all your recipes! Your food site is fantastic and has more variety than I have seen anywhere else. Above all, you have a delightful wit and sweet personality towards everyone who follows you.
You were my first guest post for Valentines Day and did me proud with the Chocolate Cherry Kiss Cocktail you concocted in my honor. Thank you Sweetie!
The Jungle of Life
Lance – Dear Lance, when I think of you, I smile because you are the doting husband and father. Always keep a strong stand without stepping on toes. I read your blog because it is from a fine husband and proud father’s perspective. I love reading your stories about your family and your participation with your kids’ activities. It is really heart warming. Thank you for your support.
Insight Writer
Jeremy Day – You told me you had my back. Well you have proved that over and over. Although we have had a bit more personal contact than with the others, I guess this is why you were the one who inspired me to write my immigrant series. See I told you I always turn things in to something positive. I want to thank you for being so supportive to me and sharing what we have in our community.
Quantum Learning
Ian Peatey – Ian, I am just getting to appreciate your blog and find it very much fun and look forward to it. You’re the super cool guy whose interest in Tesla I have always found awesome.
Advanced Life Skills>
Jonathan Wells – Mr. Gentleman, we have just recently become acquainted but it has been a pleasure from the start. I think you picked up on my childish enthusiasm faster than anyone else. I am so happy we connected. I love your blog, especially your article on relationships. You got it down!
Basia
Basia, you have picked me up when I was discouraged and gave me inspiration. I love you dear friend. You too are my guardian angel from a far. We share so much with the arts. You provided me with inspiration and encouragement.
Carla
The voice! I love this girl. Carla – all I can say is you are a voice to be heard. We have enjoyed music and I have enjoyed when you don’t agree. You’re super cool, momma!
Last but not least, I feel this blog is a must:
Blogging Without a Blog
Barbara’s technique is fantastic. It is a virtual blogging classroom everyone can benefit from. It is a blog that I recommend you get involved with and support. A lot of fun while learning. Thank you Barbara.
I have been making Bunny more versatile and not just sticking to my plan – my original idea to ony write about business and entrepreneur topics for women. I have enjoyed writing the historical articles very much, and found a younger community following me at that point. Which was pretty cool. Hopefully you found the Great Women of the Past and Present series to be benefitting and interesting – I have to admit that series was one of my favorites to write. It was wonderful to have Professor Edith Luchins daughter and grand daughter comment on that post.
So you want to start a blog?
On the topic of advising a person who is starting off with a blog like I was with Bunny got Blog one year ago: I would have to say, enjoy sharing what you have to say and be patient about it. You don’t have to check it everyday. People will eventually find you. Show gratitude and respect to fellow blogs with supporting comments.
You will find these tips everywhere, yes, and they all boil down to “write about your passion, and write it with passion”. Don’t despair if you change your niche in the middle of things. I did. I found after working all day, the last thing I wanted to do is write about it. Not that I won’t write any more business related articles – but there is so much to write about, and so much to share with others beyond business!
My top read post was Health Benefits of Cayenne Pepper. Your experiences are unlimited when you have access to the world, and meeting people you would have never have had the privilege of knowing otherwise makes it worth it. You give a little and gain a little – every day.
I would like to thank you all who supported Bunny this year and leave you with this.
Joe Cocker -With A Little Help From My Friends- Thank you!
