I Put A Spell On You

Halloween isn’t just for the kids but the young at heart. Every once in a while my inner child rushes out and with Halloween on the way I thought I would try something different. So I have recipes and some music for you if you are planning a Halloween party for yourself and friends. Maybe you want to get together with your  family to celebrate in order to avoid the normal cold trick or treat walk through the neighborhood.

Bringing friends and neighbors together in the community is a great reason to have a party. So bring on the Halloween celebration. :)

My husband and I love music and we love to entertain. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It allows me to be creative and cook up a storm as well as select some tuneage  for our gathering. I will be posting several articles with recipes and music ideas for you to enjoy.

I am so excited it is Halloween!

As an adult I think we should still live young and go trick or treating. Why not?

I love Halloween!

I don’t plan on a party or anything but I love to hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. I also love to get some pictures of my Grand-kids in their costumes. It’s a fun time without a doubt. Each year my wife and I take the Grand-boys to the pumpkin patch for the day. Games, petting zoo, a hay ride, apple cider and they pick out a pumpkin that we take home and carve. The fun begins next weekend :)

Halloween is bar none my favorite holiday. I love things that represent a different kind of reality and are just a tad scary.

I can tell you I am always drawing something Halloween related when the season comes along. I too am soo very excited for the coming Hallows’ Eve.

Yum! Thank you -
I am going to 2 Halloween gatherings this year – and I got the letter Z for my potluck dish so I am making Zuchini Korny Pizza….(Gluten Free of course) and I thought I would attempt to make them individual and bite size too…

The Coco movie did not come to any place close enough for me to attend…will have to wait for the DVD – Was it good and close to your research?

Hi Patricia,
The pizza sound so good you have to give me the recipe. We love zucchini and I prefer veggie pizza. Ratatouille is fantastic too, with eggplant and zucchini but not a finger food.

I have been reading reviews that aren’t that great. Facts are scrambled but it is suppose to be entertaining. It’s on the screen, they cultivate a story out of facts and call it a biography.

What I read in an early biography was Adrienne is Coco’s aunt, sister of her mother. Both women were the same age.

Coco had two sisters, one older Julia and younger Antoinette. Two brother who lived to adulthood.
From what I recently found out is her sister Julie died when giving childbirth and younger sister Antoinette died~ in Argentina from an epidemic. This sister, the younger sister married a man named Fleming, I think and moved to Canada. She ran off to Argentina with a younger man.
But I read this book years ago about her.
If I hadn’t read it, I wouldn’t not have known the characters in the Lifetime movie.
The Lifetime movie was a chick flick and left you hanging as to who were who. Excellent music and dancing if you like Tango.
Unfortunately, no writer has shown authenticity in a movie about Coco other then her personality. The true facts are sketchy.
Conflict ~ controversy that’s Hollywood and the fashion industry for ya.

Though I don’t go out of my way to celebrate Halloween, I love this time of year. I love the cooler weather and the beautiful colors. Its a bittersweet reminder how fast the years go by and that the holiday season and the end of the year is right around the corner.

Hi Carla,

I like the colors changing with the seasons. I wish the temperature wouldn’t drop so fast but that is all part of it.

Enjoy the season and thank you for stopping by and sharing.
