OK I am serious here. This isn’t the actual game I am talking about it is the Kegel exercise for the pelvic wall. Now the benefits from doing this are plenty . Strengthening these muscles not only makes sex better for you and your partner but it also conditions the muscles that make labor easier. Less risks of your bladder or other organs will prolapse when pregnant and also less chance of tearing the vagina in labor or having to have an episiotomy . Many women after carrying a child or giving birth may suffer after when they cough or sneeze urine leaks. This is may lead to incontinence later on.
This happens because the uterus may be tipped now. So when you hear other women talking about how embarrassing these times are this is why. The thing is it is a muscle. And when a muscle weakens, you can always make it stronger.
This simple exercise can be done at the desk or while you are driving the car, lying in bed, and standing up. It is something you can do and no one knows what you are doing unless you tell them. What is important to know you should do each exercise in the three different positions I mentioned to get the floor benefit. The pelvic wall is like a hammock inside your body – so standing, sitting down and lying down are important for strengthening all the muscles.
There are several variations of the exercise. The most common is sitting or standing down tightening the vagina without using your legs or stomach muscles. Just a tight and release movement of the vagina. Another one is when you tighten the vagina slowly five times and then hold for five seconds before you release the muscle, then repeat for as many times as you want but for at least three to five times a day (also read the Wikipedia entry on Kegel exercises).
You shouldn’t do it any longer though. Doing it too much could result in damaging.
I would have to compare when you have to urinate and tightening the muscle to prevent an accidental leak before you get to the bathroom.
Which brings up another exercise: when urinating, start then stop for a second before continuing.
This is one is great for lying down. Put two of your fingers inside the vagina and squeeze. You should feel tightness around your finger. If you have a special toy like a pencil vibrator you could do that also. This is an exercise to do when you are having sex also.
Kegel exercises aren’t just for women, men can do it too.
