I forgot it was Black Friday when I went to the mall for the movies, but somehow I made it unscathed. It was a sunny day and I somehow found open parking, no lines, and happy people.

I avoided Black Friday by getting on the train and coming home from San Fransisco for 21 hours of reading. We did do a few minutes of shopping while in SF to work on the ebook…which is really turning out exciting and fun, now that the worry is over.

We have no little kids but 9 coming for the big day…I am working on making stocking magic and my partner is taking everyone cross country skiing for 2 days….I think this will be very memorable.

I don’t think I’ve ever went shopping on a Black Friday before. I did do a little shopping last Friday but it was done online and a little window shopping at some local shops. I’ve never been a fan of big box stores so I generally avoid them anyway.
