It’s that time again to introduce to you to some of my favorite blogs and authors. Today I would like to share new and not so new finds. I have these blogs in my reader and I hope you will find value in them. These blogs are all by men – all have a distinctive style to their writing that is very admirable and inspirational.
I would like to begin with:
This blog is written by Ian Peatey. You may have noticed that I have mentioned Ian previously on Bunny got Blog; many of my friends share the interests and experience of Ian’s articles. For those of you don’t know him yet, Quantum Learning isn’t just a blog for self-improvement with a non-violent approach. It has so much more to offer. Ian is a certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication. He has workshops you can subscribe to online. Ian writes of everyday experiences in life and family matters. Ian has charisma which, I think, you will capture when you read Quantum Learning.
The invisible path this is one of my recent favorite articles Ian has written. Life, powerful and fragile is anoother one – Ian has written about facing morality. It is a very powerful article. Another great read is In seach of value where Ian observes how value affects us in life.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce to you Jonathan Wells of Advanced Life Skills. This is another favorite blog and author of mine that I have been following for a while. He, too, has a distinguished popularity on the internet. Jonathan is always writing inspiring articles for a happier and improved lifestyle. His articles are hitting home for many of us these days.
I particularly liked 10 Ways to Cope When Bad Things Happen. Another valuable article is 11 Steps to a More Positive You. This article is packed with wisdom on how to have a more optimistic attitude. Jonathan also shares his blog recommendations on his Friday with Friends. Always a good read where you may find some gems!

This blog is totally new to me. The author is Dainis Graveris. Dainis has a variety of articles and helpful resources on his blog. It revolves not only around development, but also contains helpful information about web design and inspiration.
Danis also has quite a few posts helping us bloggers do what we do (blog!): Read his Wordpress 2.8 Tutorial and Hack Toolbox, then if you’re a StumbleUpon-er like I,
StumbleUpon FAQ, Guides, Tools, Addons And Scripts – and of course 33 Promising Web Development And Social Network Firefox 3.5 Plugins. Lots of good links there.

Frank Jovine and his Sharks from Tech Jaws provide us the latest technology for sailing smoothly on the blogosphere, like Things to Check for when Purchasing a Domain Name. That is valuable advice and Frank helps not only the non-technical among us understand those little technical things we need to know if we’re serious about running a blog, and about getting the most out of the internet.
The post The Virtues of Firefox Session Restore is very helpful, you might find out a thing or two about your favorite web browser. You are using Firefox, aren’t you? I’m also sure you will enjoy the Feeding Frenzy series as well as his featured new articles and ongoing series. You can really get hooked on and Frank does a great job with always being there to answer questions in the comments and help clear things up.

This blog is by Miguel de Luis Espinosa. Miguel is a delightful and compassionate man. His articles are from the heart and truly worth reading – this is one of my favorites: My Friend Evenso. He is just so powerful how he creates an example that connects to our emotions, like in Under pressure? That’s how you fix it. Miguel has ingeniously provided us with the means to use our imagination to improve ourselves and our lifestyles. I appreciate and enjoy the whole experience of wisdom and life. It allows me to let out my inner child out and that is such a priceless gift.
Miguel, we have a mutual mentor : ) – we share the same classroom. I want to thank you for being my friend, as well as being such a fine example of leadership and humanitarianism.

Donald Latumahina is the author of Life Optimizer. I found him as I was organizing bookmarks one evening. I had saved a list of sites from another blog. As I read through the sites, I was drawn to Life Optimizer. I started to read Donald’s recent article and I found myself reading through many more that same evening. I think it was at the finish of the second article when I subscribed to this wonderful site.
As you know, I love history. It was a pleasure to read Donald’s article 4 Good Reasources to Learn History.
There are also very good articles to discover new ways of managing your energy and self improvement: Managing Your Energy is one of them. Also read 30 Practical Tips to Make Yourself Indispensible to Others and How to Focus: Five Levels of Mental Focus You Might Not Aware of. These are great reads and I believe you will appreciate the insights Donald shares with us.
Sources of Insight is J.D. Meier’s creation. As I was reading his blog tonight, I see we have many mutual friends. So I can tell you this, you will be in great company when you visit J.D.. Sources of Insight will give you ideas about developing your blog as well as self-improvement. He has a great style of writing which I enjoy very much.
The Design of an Effective Tagline is a very interesting read and delivers practical advice. With The Six Sources of Influence , J.D. has written a wonderful article and displays graphs along with it. Powerful stuff that can be used in so many areas. Then J.D. also shares the most popular articles on his site: read his Most Popular Posts as of June 2009.
I also checked out some of J.D.’s older articles. This one may be an “oldie” but it shouldn’t be recycled: Rituals for Results is filled with helpful information on making the most out of your time and becoming more efficient; becoming a happier you.
You will also find on Sources of Insight on J.D.’s distinguished guest authors list. Take a look for yourself, I feel you will enjoy Sources of Insight as much as I do.
Many of my friends may already know some of these sites. I am enjoying the friendship and the getting-to-know likeminded people as I follow these blogs. I find sharing and introducing these blogs to you a very personal way to show my gratitude and appreciation not only to the authors but to you, the readers.
So how many of these blogs are new to you?
