I am spreading the word about the event coming up in the blogosphere. My friend Kilroy_60 is having a celebration in honor of his four years of blogging. The celebration is a blog carnival. I’ll be participating in the carnival and I hope you will. Carnival day is October 29, 2009, the day of his four-year Blogiversary.
Kilroy, has hosted and participated in many blog carnivals. He provided me with an overview of how carnivals work and what bloggers should do to benefit from participating. This is my first time ever participating in a blog carnival.
What is a Blog Carnival :
A Blog Carnival is an opportunity to discover other blogs. Bloggers who submit their articles to carnivals are rewarded with traffic (if the host decides to give them a link) and a possibility of a review.
The first blog carnival was in 2002. It was named, the Carnival of the Vanities. I think a carnival is the perfect way to unit the blogging community with a celebration and introduction to many authors.
This is what this is all about, getting new visitors… meeting other bloggers… receiving more comments… having the possibility of new link exchanges… gaining more regular visitors… finding ideas that will make your blogging more successful and, of course, surfing to great sites!
The Rules:
- You can write about whatever you like.
- Send your article link, along with your name and a link to your blog, to kilroy60@gmail.com .
- Your article must be sent before Sunday, Oct 25, 11:59 pm EST
- Entries are being accepted Now.
