I have found that the eating the tropical fruit mango boosts my enthusiasm by reminding me of a romantic beach with pink sand and translucent blue waters - aside from the psychological high. I was interesting in learning the nutritional values and finding healthy recipes to use them in. My ongoing quest to find only the best natural fruit shake recipes was born.

  • There are six varieties of mango. The harvest seasons overlap so they are available all year round.
  • Serving size is half a mango for adults.
  • Mango are filled with Vitamin C and the antioxidant beta-carotene.

Mango are also listed amongst the natural aphrodisiacs. Good to know these things.

Because it is so refreshing you can also freeze the mango to enjoy on those hot summer days. Use some lemon juice or sprinkle some sugar and cayenne pepper on it. This is very tasty. The mango has an abundance of uses in recipes from a main dish, sauces and salsas to healthy drinks.

Here is an easy natural mango fruit shake for you to try.

Tropical Mango Fruit Shake (Recipe & Ingredients)

Just mix it all up in a juicer or blender.

  • 1/2 mango
  • 2 tbsp. frozen Pina Coloda mix (or 1/8 tsp. natural coconut extract)
  • 1/2 banana, frozen
  • 4 strawberries, frozen
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 1/4 cup water

Because the mango is a little awkward to cut I have provided you with a video and another interesting article about the mango.

There is also an article about mango, the tropical cure that you can read. But first, follow my trail along Bunny’s natural fruit shake recipes and check out my wonderful fresh pineapple recipe (and healthy, too!). After that, you might be interested in reading about the Blueberries anti aging effects.

Have fun with more mango!
