You need to connect with your significant other even if it is a homemade dinner and a movie rental. One of you should have the incentive to make it happen. Really it may only take as long as 30 minutes for a meal or even order take out/delivery then a movie. This is lightweight stuff.

Child Of The Cold War

I was a child of The Cold War. I remember the drills we were taught to practice in school, ducking our heads under our desks in case the Soviet Union decided to launch ballistic missiles at us. Never mind that the bombs would have such horrific impacts that our desks would have been crushed under the weight of a building falling upon them. I remember looking for yellow bomb shelter signs so that I would know where to run if the sirens went off. This was the era of nuclear proliferation and mutually assured destruction. Read on →

I have been taking some time off from writing, and to those of you who have emailed me, concerned as to what is going on, I have only been on a short break. It did mean a lot to me receiving your emails and inquiries. Things are fine here in Bunny Land.

We are planning a vacation and have chosen the Caribbean for our destination. I found a beautiful villa which idyllically meets our needs, in St. James, Barbados.

What is important to us is privacy and the beach. I didn’t realize until last weekend my husband wanted Internet provisions also. This is a change from the first criteria where internet was forbidden. Realistically though, the internet is part of the family and a means of communication between us and our clients. Gotta love the clients… right?

I suppose most women would be insulted. I mean why does he need the computer when he has me? The fact is that is where he works. He is a responsible man so I can’t just ask him to give up communication to his clients for two weeks, right? Read on →
