I find myself always looking for things to explore in my relationship with my fiance. Some good ideas that I feel would keep what we have flourishing and spiritually connected. What I have found is this.

This next article truly hit home with me. I feel sex is an expression of love, and without love, it is a despicable and meaningless act. It should take place when you are sealing the deal - and there I go again, making it sound like a business deal, but your bodies are what you give each other, and I have said it more then once - there is so much more to a lasting relationship than sex.

To be in love and in a committed relationship, love making should become a joining together where you replenish each other’s emotional and spiritual well-being, as well as strengthening your bond.

I feel we can never read too much self-help or inspirational words. I found this article to touch various streams of my life. When you think about treating others as you would want to be treated, and also conquering your demons from your past. Learning to accept each other’s past history and how we have grown because of it is something you need to discover as a couple. Withholding the past will only result in pain if you do not come clean from the start. Nothing hurts more than some dirty laundry coming out after you have given your heart away. This again is an inspirational article written by a man. I think I am driven to these sites because I have always urned to find out how a man thinks. Still trying to, I guess… There is something refreshing about reading a man’s emotional surrender to the woman he loves. Sharing your life and all your misfortunes and happiness is so wonderful when you can actually let down that protective wall and be completely vulnerable, because you are sharing a mutual trust and unconditional love for each other.

These articles have been very informative on a subject I am very interested in - how to make a relationship lasting and meaningful, how you can truly become one, even when you both keep your individuality. Which is very important for the relationship to survive. Someday, I truly hope to have this.
